Educational Qualification

• Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Must possess a government-recognized diploma in computer operation.

Age Limit (as of 1st August 2024)

• General (Male): 18-25 years

• BC/EBC (Female): 18-28 years
• SC/ST (Male/Female): 18-30 years
• Age relaxation is applicable for government employees and ex-servicemen as per the rules.

Bihar Police Steno ASI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

1. Written Test:
   • Two objective question papers.
   • Paper I: General Hindi (100 marks, 1.5 hours).
   • Paper II: General Knowledge and Reasoning (200 marks, 2 hours).
2. Skill Test:
   • Shorthand Test: 80 WPM in Hindi; transcription speed of 30 WPM on a computer.
   • Typing Test: Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM in Hindi.
3. Merit List:
