Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and 50% marks in English (in Class X or XII).
Additional Requirement
- Must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2024 for B.E./B.Tech. Shortlisting for the SSB interview will be based on JEE Main All India Common Rank List (CRL).
Age Limit
- Born between January 2, 2006, and July 1, 2008 (both dates inclusive).
Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme 2024 Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on JEE Main 2024 CRL.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews at Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, or Visakhapatnam, starting from March 2025.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by SSB must undergo a medical exam as per naval standards.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on SSB marks, subject to medical fitness and availability of vacancies.
Training Details
- Selected candidates will undergo a four-year B.Tech course in Applied Electronics, Mechanical, or Communication Engineering, as per naval requirements, at INA, Ezhimala.
- On successful completion, candidates will be awarded a B.Tech degree by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
- The Indian Navy will cover the entire cost of training, including books, uniforms, and messing.
