Important Dates:
- Online Application Start Date: June 3, 2025
- Last Date for Online Application Submission: June 23, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM)
- Last Date for Fee Payment: June 24, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM)
- Correction Window: June 25, 2025 to June 26, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM)
- Examination Dates: July 26, 27, and 28, 2025
Application Fee:
- General: INR 1150/-
- EWS / OBC (NCL): INR 600/-
- SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: INR 325/-
- Payment can be made online through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Eligibility Criteria (as on July 1, 2025):
- Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc. or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks for General/OBC candidates.
- 50% marks for SC/ST and PwD candidates.
- Integrated Course, B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharma, and MBBS candidates are also eligible.
- Age Limit:
- For JRF: Maximum 30 years. Age relaxation is provided for up to 5 years for SC/ST/Third gender/PwD/Females and up to 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).
- For Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.
- For Admission to PhD: No upper age limit.
How to Apply:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to
https://csirnet.nta.ac.in - New Registration: Click on the link for "Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2025: Click Here to Register/Login" and then select 'New Registration'.
- Read Instructions: Carefully read the information bulletin and instructions provided.
- Fill Registration Form: Provide your personal details, including name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address. Create a password. An application number will be generated.
- Complete Application Form: Log in using your system-generated application number and password. Fill in all required personal, educational, and professional details.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of:
- A recent photograph (JPG format, 10Kb – 200Kb) - in color or black & white with 80% face visible against a white background.
- Candidate's signature (JPG format, 4kb – 30kb).
- Duly verified Result Awaited Attestation Form (PDF format, 50KB to 500KB) if applicable.
- Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS etc.), if applicable (PDF format, 50KB to 300KB).
- Pay Application Fee: Pay the examination fee online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Review and Submit: Double-check all the filled information for accuracy before final submission.
- Print Confirmation Page: After successful submission and payment, download and print the confirmation page for your records.
