Qualification:
- Applicants who have completed Degree in business administration, marketing, economics or equivalent from a recognized Institute for IATA 2018
Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing sales activities for specific products and services in coordination with the Regional Head, MACS, meeting the sales target and acquiring new customers
- Develop and maintain profound subject matter expertise in the functional area of the products covered, reducing the need for product manager involvement in the sales process;
- Liaising closely with the Country and client relationship Managers and exchanging updates on a regular basis, and providing feedback ideas from the marketplace for new product development;
- Prospecting and penetrating new businesses through qualified leads;
- Monitoring the market, selected customer profiles, competition trends, and behaviors on behalf of the Regional Head and/or for own target category and preparing sales plan for own target category as part of the regional sales plan;
- Promoting IATA products and services at exhibitions and trade shows and representing IATA at all times in a professional, dedicated, customer-focused way; and
- Working together with global and regional product specialists, marketing and product managers to fulfill the customer needs; and maintain a regular exchange with product managers
Skills:
- Excellent PC skills, particularity with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project as well as familiarity with databases and a CRM tool such as Salesforce.com; and
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English knowledge of an additional language would be an asset
